Willow Wood Nursing Home Ministry:
Open Door Baptist Church counts it an honor and a privilege to minister to the folks at Willow Wood Nursing Home in Flowery Branch, GA. Bro. Keith Roberts is currently our Outreach Minister and he and his wife do a great job of ministering to these dear people. Although, most are older in age and their health not what it once was, the folks still desire a church life and need a preacher to preach to them in their home.
The Bible says in James 1:27 “Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world. This ministry is ordained by the God of heaven and is a vital part of our ministry here at Open Door Baptist Church. Our Pastor’s first congregation was in the nursing homes of Monroe, N.C. Much experience was gleaned here and we all can learn from the older saints of God if we only take the time to listen and give of ourselves.
